چکیده
Introduction/Aim: Haemolytic disease of the newborn is haemolytic anaemia that occurs as a consequence mismatched blood parents, is, mismatch elements between mother and fetus in ABO or Rh system. The aim this study to report case which occurred result incompatibility. Case report: Indirect hyperbilirubinemia was registered female 18th hour life. group A (D) positive, direct Coombs test positive anti-A antibodies were detected baby's blood. This successfully managed with phototherapy simple red cells transfusion without need for exchange transfusion. Conclusion: incompatibility can be major problem prenatal, perinatal neonatal periods. Special attention should paid pregnant women whose children from previous pregnancies had ended miscarriage.

Hemolytic Disease of the Newborn
Hemolytic disease of the newborn (HDN), with high potential for increased fetal loss is less common now, due to the universal screening for iso-sensitization and also because of appropriate use of antenatal anti-RhD antibody prophylaxis. There are other non-RhD antibodies that can cause HDN. In US, we occasionally encounter a highly sensitized fetus with significant morbidity and mortality. In ...

RhD antigen is the most immunogenic and clinically significant antigen of red blood cells after ABO system. It has historically been associated with hemolytic disease of the newborn (HDN) which is now routinely prevented by the administration of polyclonal anti-D immunoglobulin. This management of HDN has proven to be one of the most successful cases of prophylactic treatment based on antibody ...

KM The primary cause, of course, is maternal antibodies to red blood cells. Their formation usually occurs at delivery, and in the following pregnancy, those antibodies cross through the placenta and can affect the next fetus. When the antibodies attach to the fetal red blood cells, the cells break down and the fetus becomes anemic. In the United States, the 3 antibodies that cause nearly all t...
